An Invitation from U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, Acting Chairman, Ann Marie Buerkle

It is my pleasure to invite you to attend the Buyers and Sourcing Professionals International Training Seminars in China and Vietnam in March 2018. Over the past several years, these trainings have provided excellent opportunities for government representatives to share latest information on important product requirements and standards, and for industry to share their insights and experiences for the benefit of consumer safety.
This year, we have three exciting trainings scheduled in Shanghai (March 13), Guangzhou (March 15), and Ho Chi Minh City (March 20). I am delighted that the European Commission is partnering with us for our training in China, and the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission is partnering with us in Vietnam. These trainings are truly exceptional opportunities to learn about the consumer safety information to enter several major markets. The trainings will be packed with information that can make a concrete and impactful difference to consumers and companies.
The trainings are free of charge and will have simultaneous translation. If you have responsibility for sourcing consumer products and face the challenges of ensuring sound, purchasing decisions, you won’t want to miss these opportunities.
To sign up to receive early notification when registration opens, please contact BuyersTraining2018@cpsc.gov. Space is limited, and registration, once open, will close February 28, 2018. Priority for registration will be given to buyers and sourcing professionals.
We look forward to seeing you there.

Yours Sincerely,

Ann Marie Buerkle
Acting Chairman
