Maoming City is located in the west of Guangdong Provice, east to Yangjiang City, south to the South China Sea, west to Zhanjiang City, notth to the border of Yulin City, Guangxi Province. The agriculture and food industry is the key industry of Maoming City, with 60 provincial level agricultural leading enterprises and 111 municipal level leading agricultural enterprises. The total output value of agricultural products processing industry in Maoming has exceeded 90 billion RMB. Nowadays, in accordance with the national strategy Maoming Successively sets up national agricultural high-tech zones and national pastoral complex pilots. It also strives to build a modern coastal city with strong industrial strength so as to formulate a coastal economy, integrating isself into the Guangdong, Hongkong and Macao District and the Pearl River Delto core urban economic circle, and becomes a new growth pole.
