The Sino-American(Jiangmen) Copoperation Industral Park is an international Co-operation park buil under the ausipices of the Guangdong Province. The core startup area development of the Park is located in the east of Jiangmen High-tech Zone, where it occupies 400,000 m2of land. Its predecessor is Jiangmen Lingzhi Industrial Park that was put into operation in 2005 by the city. The individual park had been developed and operated as Lynns Industrial Park since year 2005. 300,000 m2 of the land has been developed so far and the foreign enterprises that have operated here include Emerson, Delphi and Corning among the Fortune 500 Enterprise and such multinationals as Eclipse, Sedal and Lynns. The Park benefits from the distinctive mechanism of international cooperation, introduction of strategic investors, government guidance, market-oriented operations and “government + enterprise” teamwork to provide internationalized enterprises with specialized industrial services and high-standard customized factory buildings. The design of the major structure of the factory buildings keeps pace closely with the industrial trend of the United States and uses prefabricated slabs in the construction of the external walls of the buildings (pictures showing the hoisting of prefabricated slabls), a construction method known as Concrete tilt-up, which uses templates for onsite making of wallboards that are then installed into positions with a crane. The method features a shorter period shorter time of construction, less safety loopholes, strong fire endurance higher Fire resistance, low environmental pollution.
